Description
The K8 Jet trainer is a low-wing monoplane featuring a single engine, two-side air intake, tandem double seats, and a 3-point nose undercarriage unit. It is mainly used for training, encompassing take-off, basic flight, night-flying, metering, formation, and aerobatics. This aircraft was completely designed by Hongdu Aviation. The K8’s first flight test took place in November 1990 and the design finalization was in December 1992. Thousands of on-land tests and flying tests show that its combined properties are generally superior to other jet trainers from around the world.
