Description
The Fi-167 biplane torpedo bomber was developed in WWII specifically for the German aircraft carrier Graf Zeppelin. It had exceptional handling quality at low speeds and low altitudes, making it ideal for carrier operations involving landing on a moving runway. In 1940 when Graf Zeppelin was cancelled, the production of Fi-167 was halted as well. Some were eventually used in German-held Dutch territory and several were sold to Croatia as army transport units.
