Description
The Hawker Typhoon was originally designed to replace the Hawker Hurricane as the complimentary high-altitude fighter to the Supermarine Spitfire, but instead became known for its low-altitude ground attacks. With an enormous 24-cylinder Napier Sabre Engine, the Typhoon had a rough time before maturing into an adequate low level fighter bomber.
