Description
HMS Exeter is a British Royal Navy heavy cruiser active during World War II and part of the York class of ships. It sustained heavy damage in the 1939 Battle of the River Plate and was brought in for repairs. Following that, the ship was sent to the east of India in 1942 and was eventually sunk in the Battle of Surabaya by the Japanese.
