Description
The HU-16 Albatross was made by the Grumman Co. of the US, and it was equipped with two R-1820-76D reciprocating 1425hp engines. The maximum speed of the Albatross is 200 mph, the maximum range is 2660 miles and its service ceiling is 21000 feet. It can carry ten passengers or a variety of rescue equipment. The first flight of the HU-16 was on October 24, 1947.
