Description
In 1951 the Martin Company contracted the Canberra bomber licensing production agreement. The B-57B version featured a changed nose section and lethal armament. The bomber was armored with eight 12.7 caliber machine guns. It was possible to hang additional external bombs, fuel tanks and free flight rockets on the weapons pylons. The next version was the B-57C training aircraft, which was produced in small quantities.
