Description
In 1940 the Bf-109Z was created as a proper towing plane for the two big cargo-carrying gliders Me-321 and Ju-322. Its successful tests encouraged Messerschmitt to create the ‘heavy hunter’ on the base of the Bf-109F. In 1943 it was finished but it was destroyed in an air attack before completing its trials.
