Description

The MiG-15bis Fighter is a further development of the MiG-15 aircraft featuring a more powerful engine. The PLAAF introduced it in 1952. It scored heavy losses on the F-86 fighters of the USAF during its super performance during the Korean War in 1950. While performing operations of territorial air defense it has shot down a P2V reconnaissance airplane of KMTAF. Wang Hai flew the MiG-15bis and shot down or damaged 9 enemy planes during the Korean War.
