Description
The I-16 was the major fighter type of the Red Army airforce during the 1930’s. It exhibited great maneuverability and speed for its time. It was widely used during the war in Spain, China, and Finland, and in Mongolia in 1939 they were the first in aviation history to use rocket missiles.
