Description
Built by Sikorsky, the SH-60B is deployed aboard frigates, destroyers and cruisers. It has three primary missions: antisubmarine warfare, anti-surface unit warfare and anti-ship surveillance and targeting. It accomplishes these missions with the aid of advanced sensors as part of the Light Airborne Multi-Purpose System Mk. III. It can even carry and fire torpedoes or Hellfire missiles.
