Description
Aviation development resulted in the need for special fire weapons to combat enemy aircraft. The Maxim machine guns were used both as separate units and mounted on carts, cars, tanks and armored trains. They were actively used in WWII to fire against infantry and aircraft. In total tens of thousands were produced in the USSR.
