This kit depicts New Jersey in its World War II configuration, a useful companion to Missouri or Iowa in a same-scale display. The kit year matters when choosing references because later refits changed the ship’s equipment and silhouette.

Working with the Deluxe edition

The Deluxe release is intended for a more involved detail build. Review its parts list before ordering separate upgrades, and plan the assembly sequence around any fine detail parts supplied in the box. Compare the Standard edition (VEE7002S) when deciding which version to build.

Product details

Manufacturer — Vee Hobby

SKU — VEE7002E

Scale — 1/700

Subject — USS New Jersey BB-62 1945

Ship class — Iowa class

Edition — Deluxe

Configuration — 1945

Format — Unassembled plastic model kit

Finishing supplies — Model paint and cement sold separately

Build and display notes

Pick references from 1945 before planning the paint scheme.
