Description
The Admiral was a passenger car with a powerful engine and new comfort features. It was the best of the Opel pre-war car range. From February 1938 until October 1939 just 6404 cars were produced. At the beginning of the war most of them were requisitioned and used as personal transport for senior officers of the Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe. They were used at both the Eastern and Western fronts up to the end of WWII. Admiral cars were produced in different types, including over 200 that had open-top cabriolet bodies.
