Abteilung502 Prussian Blue AKABT545

Abteilung502 Prussian Blue AKABT545 is available from MegaHobby for your modeling workbench.

Prussian blue has been on artists’ palettes for almost 300 years. Prussian Blue PB27 is a vividly colored pigment with a slightly greenish neutral tendency. It is recommended for working with blue mixtures to obtain very rich and powerful nuances. Suitable on any blue base.

ABT502 oil paints not only contain a range of exclusive colors for modelers, but also have a exclusive formula with less oil for more matte finishes and a perfect balance between the medium and the highest quality pigments.
Oil paints are very special paints with different and unique characteristics that allow a great control of the techniques, providing completely realistic finishes.

Contains pigments: PB27

Plan Color and Weathering Together

Choose this color around the effect you want to build, whether that means a subtle change in tone, a shadow, a highlight or a more visible weathered detail. Test the result over your chosen base finish before applying it to a completed model. A color name is a starting point rather than a fixed recipe for every subject.

For figure and miniature work, think about how the color will relate to adjacent shades and the direction of the light. For vehicles, aircraft and structures, use reference photographs to decide where variation belongs. Keep the technique controlled so the underlying detail remains readable.

Prepare Your Oil-Painting Workbench

Use a thinner appropriate for the product and the finish beneath it. Try the complete combination on spare material, and follow the individual product directions for application, drying and cleanup. Keep brushes selected for the scale of the work and the effect you want to achieve.
