Figure Models

Scale Figure Models, Historical Figures & Miniatures

Bring people, characters and historical periods to the workbench with figure models from MegaHobby. Scale figures can be rewarding projects on their own, become the focal point of a display or add the human element that turns a vehicle, building or landscape into a complete scene.

Our figure model selection covers historical subjects, fantasy themes, wildlife, monsters and larger-scale figures, giving painters and builders plenty of opportunities to work with faces, clothing, uniforms, equipment, skin tones, textures and other details that make figure modeling a distinctive part of the hobby.

1/32 Scale Historical Figures

Explore 1/32 scale figures representing subjects from different periods of history. The collection includes figures connected with the Civil War, Greek and Roman times, the Napoleonic Era, the Revolutionary War, the Middle Ages, and Old West and Alamo subjects.

Historical figure modeling offers builders an opportunity to explore uniforms, equipment, clothing and colors associated with a particular place and period. Individual figures can be displayed by themselves or incorporated into larger dioramas and scenes.

1/72 Scale Figures & Smaller Scenes

For builders working in a smaller scale, browse 1/72 scale figures. The smaller footprint makes 1/72 figures especially useful when creating scenes with larger groups of people or when display space is limited.

Subjects within the 1/72 figure range include Ancient Times B.C. and Fantasy & Gaming, providing options beyond conventional modern military subjects.

Large Figures, Wildlife, Fantasy & Horror

Figure modeling isn't limited to military and historical subjects. Explore large figures for projects that put greater emphasis on painting and surface detail, monsters and horror models for classic and imaginative subjects, and wildlife models for animal subjects.

Builders interested in creating environments around their figures can also explore forts and castles and related scenic subjects.

Painting & Finishing Figure Models

Figure painting rewards careful color choices and controlled detail work. Faces, hands, uniforms, fabric, leather, metal and equipment can each require different approaches to color, shading and highlights. Visit the MegaHobby Paint Store for model paints, primers, brushes and finishing products, or browse weathering products for effects that can add depth and character to a finished figure or scene.

For cutting, assembly, filling, sanding and precision work, our Tools & Supplies department carries the essentials needed to take a figure project from initial preparation through final display.

Whether you're painting a single display figure, assembling troops for a historical scene or creating an imaginative fantasy project, MegaHobby's figure models offer subjects for modelers who enjoy bringing miniature people, creatures and characters to life.
