AK Interactive Dual Exo 25A Light Cianite (60ml) is a satin acrylic paint. Dual Exo is an acrylic range developed for subjects such as mecha, science fiction vehicles and robots. Its named color pairs give you a starting point for choosing related tones for armor panels and other large surfaces.
At the workbench
Paint a sample panel before choosing how to separate colors across a model. Use the lighter and darker shades to organize large shapes, then bring out the joints and small details with targeted finishing work.
AK describes Dual Exo as a satin acrylic system for science fiction subjects. Compare A and B shades side by side to plan large armor panels, and use a test piece to judge how the sheen changes under a wash.
