Building and finishing

Dry-fit the body, chassis and interior assemblies before applying paint. Check the window fit and plan the treatment of trim and brightwork. Light paint coats preserve panel lines and small details. Keep glue-contact surfaces clear where a strong bond is needed, and let the body finish cure before extensive handling.
