Build your next vehicle with AMT model car kits at MegaHobby. The collection spans classic American cars, performance subjects, imports and custom designs, with body styles and building approaches for a varied display. Start with the subject that interests you, then compare the exact release for scale, assembly method and the included configurations.
Choose the exact AMT release
A familiar car name does not identify the complete package. Stock, custom, street-machine and racing releases can have different wheels, engines, graphics or body options. Coupe, convertible and wagon subjects also need different finishing plans. Read the individual description rather than assuming that every AMT version of the vehicle contains the same parts.
Build and finish with a plan
Plan the colors, visible mechanical finishes and final display before starting assembly. Test-fit the main pieces and check alignment on a flat surface, then leave access to areas that need separate painting. Light paint coats preserve molded detail. Use the instructions and subject references to decide which components need a clean finish and where restrained wear is appropriate.
