Atlas Brush Company 3-Piece Taklon Round & Flat Brush Set (10/0, 0, 1)

Atlas Brush Company 3-Piece Taklon Round & Flat Brush Set (10/0, 0, 1) brings 3 brushes together for model painting. The set uses taklon synthetic bristles in round and flat profiles. The listed selection is Round 10/0 and #0; flat #1.

Using it on your model

Use the broad face to lay down color on a small panel or piece of trim, and turn the edge toward a narrower line. Test the stroke width before working beside a finished color. Use the point for small marks and the fuller part of the brush for a broader stroke. Test both on a spare piece so you can judge the line before painting the model.

Plan the paint and coverage

For a figure, test the mark on a spare surface before adding a small highlight or color boundary. On a model vehicle or aircraft, paint hard-to-reach components before final assembly where possible. Choose the brush around the area and access you need, then adjust your paint for brush application according to the paint manufacturer’s directions.

Cleaning and storage
