Atlas Brush Company 970 Golden Taklon 72-Brush Assortment

Atlas Brush Company 970 Golden Taklon 72-Brush Assortment supplies 72 brushes for a shared workbench, painting group or larger hobby setup. The assortment uses golden taklon synthetic bristles. Compare the stated package and size information with the work you plan to organize.

Using it on your model

Separate brushes by job before starting a group session. Keep clean color brushes apart from tools used for rough textures or heavier effects, and choose a size that covers the area without repeatedly working a drying layer.

Plan the paint and coverage

For a figure, test the mark on a spare surface before adding a small highlight or color boundary. On a model vehicle or aircraft, paint hard-to-reach components before final assembly where possible. Choose the brush around the area and access you need, then adjust your paint for brush application according to the paint manufacturer’s directions.

Cleaning and storage

Clean promptly with a cleaner suitable for both the paint and the brush. Keep paint from drying at the base of the bristles, reshape the tip gently after cleaning and let it dry before storage. Reserve a separate brush for abrasive texture work or other jobs that could affect a fine detail point.
