I found my current build had need of replacing several kit parts for inaccuracies & was looking to scratch build 1/35 scale spare vision block boxes using acrylic clear sheets & brass sheet for the vision block frames & boxes. I am still in the process of refining them. Once squared will cut in halves to form two identical boxes & add vision blocks with frames & a metal strip for both to secure the blocks by being hinged by bolts ( shaped similar to a bucket handle). The brass sheets are easy to form & cut with it being a 2 pack there’s plenty of material to work with. The cuts can be made with a Xuron 9180 tin snips & shaped by various photo etch tools.
