Testors Paint

Browse Testors hobby paints for scale models, miniatures and creative projects. Choose among the available bottled paints, spray finishes, markers and paint sets to match the way you work.

Choose Supplies Around Your Build

Bottled paint is useful for controlled detail work, while a spray format offers a different approach to larger surfaces. Keep paint type and finish in mind when planning primer, color and clear-coat stages; products in a single brand range do not automatically share the same thinner or application requirements.

Match the Paint to the Way You Build

For a car interior, aircraft cockpit or small piece of equipment, controlled application can matter more than covering a large area. Larger bodies and exterior surfaces call for a different plan. Consider how you will hold the part, reach recessed areas and protect adjoining colors before deciding between a bottle, marker or aerosol.

Acrylic, enamel and lacquer refer to different paint systems. Read the individual product guidance before combining products, thinning paint or planning cleanup. Keep a spare part or test piece available to check the full sequence of primer, color and clear finish, particularly when changing brands or painting over an existing coating.
