Academy Steam Locomotive Penydarren Mechanical Model Kit brings Steam Locomotive Penydarren to your workbench. The Penydarren locomotive kit brings a mechanical subject to the workbench, with its movement and structure as the focus of the display.
Planning the build
Follow the assembly order around moving parts. Test the mechanism as you build and keep paint away from contact points where it could affect movement.
Following the mechanism
Lay out the pieces in the order shown by the instructions and identify the joints that must move. Check the relationship between each assembly before advancing to the next step. A clean, well-aligned mechanism helps you follow the path of movement on the completed display, so test it gently as the build develops.
Assembly and presentation
Read the assembly sequence before applying any finish. Test the moving parts at each stage and keep the mechanism accessible during the build. Follow the kit’s instructions for setup and operation so you can see how the completed parts work together.
