Academy da Vinci Leverage Crane Mechanical Model Kit

Academy da Vinci Leverage Crane Mechanical Model Kit brings da Vinci Leverage Crane to your workbench. The leverage-crane model gives you a way to explore a lifting mechanism through its assembled parts. The structure and the movement of the crane are the focus of the project.

Planning the build

Check the frame and moving joints before operating the mechanism. Keep finish away from pivot points and follow the instructions for the completed assembly.

Following the mechanism

Lay out the pieces in the order shown by the instructions and identify the joints that must move. Check the relationship between each assembly before advancing to the next step. A clean, well-aligned mechanism helps you follow the path of movement on the completed display, so test it gently as the build develops.

Assembly and presentation

Read the assembly sequence before applying any finish. Test the moving parts at each stage and keep the mechanism accessible during the build. Follow the kit’s instructions for setup and operation so you can see how the completed parts work together.
