Atlas Brush Company Kolinsky Sable #0 Angled Detail Paintbrush

Atlas Brush Company Kolinsky Sable #0 Angled Detail Paintbrush is a single kolinsky sable brush for controlled hobby painting. Its listed size is #0. The angled detail profile helps you plan how the tip will approach the painted detail.

Using it on your model

Approach the detail from the angle that gives you a clear view of the contact point. Test the amount of paint at the corner of the tip before making a mark beside a finished surface.

Plan the paint and coverage

For a figure, test the mark on a spare surface before adding a small highlight or color boundary. On a model vehicle or aircraft, paint hard-to-reach components before final assembly where possible. Choose the brush around the area and access you need, then adjust your paint for brush application according to the paint manufacturer’s directions.

Cleaning and storage

Clean promptly with a cleaner suitable for both the paint and the brush. Keep paint from drying at the base of the bristles, reshape the tip gently after cleaning and let it dry before storage. Reserve a separate brush for abrasive texture work or other jobs that could affect a fine detail point.
