Product features and specifications

The Der Big Red Max rocket has been a classic favorite for years, and now you can experience it in a smaller 3-inch diameter version! Here are some of the key features and benefits:

• Long slow lift-offs. The Red Max is known for its impressive liftoffs, and the smaller 3-inch diameter version delivers the same performance. Imagine 3.5 seconds of smoke and fury on an Estes F15-4 motor!
• Fun to build. Building the Red Max is just as fun as flying it. The rocket features thru-the-wall fins that make assembly and alignment easy, while also giving it extra strength.
• Durable construction. With its sturdy design, the Red Max can withstand multiple launches, so you can fly it over and over again.
• Special parachute. Only Red Max rockets come with their own special printed Skull & Bones 18 inch parachute. Thus, adding to the rocket's unique and fun design.

Whether you're an experienced rocket enthusiast or a beginner, the Red Max rocket is a great choice for your next launch.

Plan the complete rocketry project

Review the build requirements and supplied contents before starting. Check the instructions for the exact recommended engine, compatible launch equipment and any recovery supplies needed. A kit, launch set and starter set can contain different equipment; only items specifically listed are included.

Published altitude figures are estimates under the stated conditions, not guaranteed flight results. Follow the supplied instructions and appropriate model rocketry safety guidance when preparing and flying the completed model.
