We're happy to announce that MegaHobby.com officially reopened under new ownership on November 1, 2026!
For more than 25 years, Mega Hobby has been a familiar name in the hobby community, helping model builders, collectors, and enthusiasts find the kits, paints, tools, and supplies they need. We're excited to carry that name forward and begin a new chapter in Mega Hobby's history.
A Soft Reopening as We Rebuild
While MegaHobby.com is once again open for business, our November 1 reopening marks the beginning of a gradual relaunch.
Behind the scenes, we're working to rebuild and expand our product catalog, establish relationships with manufacturers and distributors, and develop the inventory and fulfillment network that will support Mega Hobby moving forward.
This process takes time, and visitors may notice that certain manufacturers, products, or categories are not yet fully represented on our website. We're continuing to add products, update availability, and expand our selection as these relationships and systems come together.
The website is open and accepting orders, and we'll continue making improvements throughout the coming weeks and months.
Bringing Back the Hobbies You Love
Our goal is to make MegaHobby.com a destination for hobbyists across a wide range of interests, including:
- Plastic Model Kits — Military vehicles, tanks, aircraft, and other scale modeling subjects.
- Model Aircraft — Aircraft kits and supplies for aviation enthusiasts.
- Model Cars — Automotive model kits, detailing accessories, and finishing supplies.
- Model Ships — Naval vessels, ships, and maritime modeling projects.
- Hobby Paints — Acrylic, enamel, and lacquer paints, along with primers, thinners, and finishing products.
- Airbrushing Supplies — Airbrush equipment, accessories, and painting essentials.
- Model Building Tools & Supplies — Adhesives, brushes, hobby knives, and specialized modeling equipment.
- Model Railroading — Model trains, structures, scenery, and railroad accessories.
- Figure Models — Figures, miniatures, and related modeling supplies.
As our catalog continues to grow, we'll be introducing additional manufacturers, expanding existing categories, and improving the overall shopping experience.
Rebuilding Our Manufacturer and Supplier Network
One of our biggest priorities during this reopening is rebuilding the extensive selection of hobby products that customers have come to associate with the Mega Hobby name.
We're actively working with manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers to expand product availability across our core hobby categories. Some product lines may return sooner than others as we complete these arrangements and integrate inventory into our new systems.
Our approach is to build a reliable, sustainable operation rather than rush to list products before our supply and fulfillment processes are ready.
We encourage hobbyists to check back regularly as new products, manufacturers, and categories are added to the website.
New Ownership, the Same Familiar Name
MegaHobby.com is now operated by Theodore Industries LLC under new ownership.
Although the company operating the website has changed, our commitment is to preserve the Mega Hobby name and build upon the reputation it has established in the hobby community.
We're approaching this reopening with a long-term perspective, focusing on dependable service, competitive pricing, a broad product selection, and a shopping experience that makes finding the right hobby supplies easier.
Thank You for Welcoming Mega Hobby Back
We know many hobbyists have shopped with Mega Hobby over the years, and we appreciate the interest and encouragement surrounding its return.
Whether you're a longtime customer rediscovering the website or visiting MegaHobby.com for the first time, we're glad you're here.
There's plenty more to come as we continue rebuilding, expanding, and improving Mega Hobby.
Whatever Your Hobby, Make It Mega!
