1/72 Scale

1/72 Scale Model Ship & Boat Kits

Build boats and smaller maritime subjects in a large, highly visible format with 1/72 Scale Model Ships from MegaHobby. Because 1/72 is much larger than traditional warship scales such as 1/350 or 1/700, it is particularly well suited to smaller vessels where deck equipment, crew areas and mechanical details can become major parts of the finished model.

The scale is also widely used throughout aircraft and military modeling, giving builders opportunities to create coordinated displays that connect maritime subjects with other 1/72 projects.

Build Detailed 1/72 Boats & Vessels

Small real-world craft become substantial models in 1/72 scale. Builders can devote attention to hull details, deck fittings, weapons, controls and other equipment that might be extremely small in conventional ship scales.
