Academy Ground Vehicle Set 1/72 Scale Accessory Set

Academy Ground Vehicle Set 1/72 Scale Accessory Set brings Ground Vehicle Set to your workbench in 1/72 scale. The ground-vehicle set can help organize a compact support scene alongside an aircraft or other compatible subject.

Planning the build

Compare the vehicle scale with the rest of the display. Paint small vehicles as subassemblies where possible and keep ground weathering consistent across the scene.

Working in 1/72 scale

In this scale, clean alignment and controlled paint layers have a strong effect on the display. Compare the model with companion subjects in the same scale, then judge shading and markings from the normal viewing distance. Keep fine details clear by testing how much paint, wash and final finish you need.

Painting and finishing

Choose the setting before committing to camouflage, markings and weathering. A small painted sample lets you compare the base shade with a wash and the dust or dirt from the planned display. Keep the heaviest deposits where the vehicle or equipment would contact the ground, and check the contrast at normal viewing distance.
