Be iZZi Riveter 0.65mm Double ASKBI065D

The Be iZZi 0.65 mm double riveter is a hand tool for adding or restoring repeated rivet impressions on scale models. Available from MegaHobby, it helps you carry surface detail across a repaired seam or develop a rivet pattern on an aircraft modeling project. The listed 0.65 mm dimension identifies the rivet pitch, rather than the wheel diameter.

Double-wheel surface detailing

The double-wheel arrangement is intended for parallel rivet rows. Plan both rows against your reference before starting, especially near panel boundaries and curved surfaces. Choose the spacing by comparing the effect with your model and references; one pitch is not automatically correct for every subject at a given scale.

Plan the rivet pattern before working

Mark the intended rows lightly and test the tool on spare material before touching the model. Work with controlled pressure and support the surface so it does not flex unexpectedly. Check the appearance of the impressions under your intended primer and paint finish before committing to an entire airframe.

For aircraft, use photographs or drawings of the specific subject to guide the layout. A restrained pattern can complement panel lines and weathering without covering every surface in equally prominent marks. Where seams have been filled, let the repair material cure and level the surface before restoring detail.
