Be iZZi Riveter Tools

Compare single- and double-wheel riveters for adding and restoring rivet detail on scale models. Shop Be iZZi at MegaHobby for tools that support careful surface preparation and detailing, particularly on aircraft models.

Choose the wheel arrangement for your layout

Single-wheel tools follow individual rows, while double-wheel tools support parallel patterns. This selection includes seven pitches in each configuration, from 0.40 mm through 1.00 mm. Compare the stated spacing with your references and the effect you want on the model before choosing a tool.

Restore detail after seam work

Joining fuselage halves, fitting inserts or refining a filled seam can remove molded surface detail. A riveter gives you a way to re-establish a repeated pattern once the surface has been prepared. Plan the line against adjoining detail so the repaired section belongs visually to the rest of the model.

For a larger riveting project, begin with the specific airframe and a clear reference layout. Real aircraft do not share one universal rivet pattern, and the visual effect of a tool depends on the model, surface and finish. Avoid selecting a pitch from scale alone.

Test the result before detailing the model

Practice on spare material with controlled pressure, then check how the marks look under primer and paint. Support the working area and plan your approach to curves, panel edges and other obstructions. Follow the tool maker's guidance and keep the wheel protected between projects.
