Microscale Micro Sol Decal Setting Solution 1oz

Microscale Micro Sol, in the listed 1 oz bottle, softens decal film so it can settle over irregular model surfaces and detail. It is useful when a waterslide marking needs more help conforming after placement. Find it at MegaHobby for a carefully planned model-building and finishing workflow.

Where Micro Sol fits in the project

Prepare and position the decal using Micro Set as appropriate, then apply Micro Sol with minimal brushing once the marking is secure. Leave the softened decal undisturbed until dry; touching it at that stage can damage the film.

Plan the sequence around your model

Work from the materials and finish already on the model. A railroad car, aircraft, model vehicle or display scene can combine plastic, paint, decals and clear parts, and each stage needs the right product. Keep the product label handy and test the planned combination on spare material before working on a prominent area.

Allow enough time between application and the next finishing step. Avoid treating every Microscale liquid as interchangeable: decal solutions, clear coats, masks and adhesives perform different jobs. Choose the product for the task and use its own instructions for application and cleanup.
