Explore Moebius science fiction models inspired by 2001: A Space Odyssey, Lost in Space, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and other screen designs. Spacecraft, robots, a submarine, aircraft and the HAL interface offer a broad range of display possibilities. This collection includes a prefinished Dragonfly as well as kits, with the format identified on each listing.
Choose the right Moebius release
Compare completed size and product type before choosing your next project. The two Discovery One releases and the Orion III variants use different scales, while a full-size HAL faceplate is a different kind of display again. A compact companion model and a large spacecraft should not be assumed to match simply because they share a film or television setting. Read the individual product details for scale and contents.
Plan the finish and display
Plan the final viewing angle and support arrangement before assembly. Long spacecraft and submarine models need space for both construction and display. Use reference images and the kit instructions to organize base colors, panel contrast and clear parts. A restrained finish can help preserve the character of a screen miniature, while careful test fitting keeps visible seams under control.
