Testors Paint Sets & Kits

Browse Testors paint sets and finishing kits for model-building and hobby projects. Sets bring selected colors together and can be a practical way to plan a project or expand a workbench palette.

Choose Supplies Around Your Build

Compare the actual contents rather than the number of pieces alone. Check the included colors, bottle sizes and paint chemistry, as well as whether brushes, thinner or other accessories are listed. Select a set around your subject and the techniques you intend to use; contents vary by item.

Buy a Set Around Your Subject

A useful paint set is one whose contents fit the build on your bench. A vehicle project may need interior and mechanical colors in addition to its exterior finish. An aircraft, structure or figure can require a different mix of base colors and detail shades. Review the color list rather than choosing a set only by its packaging.

Some kits include accessories, while others focus on the paints. Check the exact product listing for brushes, thinner, trays and other included items so you can identify what else is needed. Keep acrylic and enamel requirements distinct when planning cleanup and application. A larger set is not automatically a better fit than a smaller selection of the colors your project actually uses.
