Vee Hobby USS New Jersey BB-62 1945 Standard 1/700 Model Kit - VEE7002S

Build the USS New Jersey BB-62 1945 with this Vee Hobby 1/700 Standard Edition plastic ship model kit. This kit depicts New Jersey in its World War II configuration, a useful companion to Missouri or Iowa in a same-scale display. The kit year matters when choosing references because later refits changed the ship’s equipment and silhouette.

Working with the Standard edition

Start with the Standard release if you want to plan the finish and decide separately where to add fine detail. Check the instructions for the parts supplied with this specific kit. Compare the Deluxe edition (VEE7002E) when deciding which version to build.

Build and display notes

Pick references from 1945 before planning the paint scheme. Test-fit the superstructure and gun positions together to check clearances and preserve a straight line along the long deck. In a fleet display, leave room around the hull so the deck layout reads clearly from above.
