Xuron 9100 Oval Head Micro-Shear® Flush Cutter

Xuron 9100 Oval Head Micro-Shear® Flush Cutter is part of the Xuron tool range at MegaHobby.

The next generation Micro-Shear® Flush Cutter. Manufactured from tough alloyed steel with state of the art heat treating and ultra precise CNC grinding to create the ultimate shear cutter.

Oval head configuration lends itself perfectly to wire art and chainmaille applications. Also perfect for cutting jump rings up to 12 AWG (2mm) and precious metal wire.

Soft Xuro-Rubber™ grips and Light Touch™ return spring add comfort and control.

Optionally available with Xuron’s wire retaining clip, see Model 9100F.

Controlled Cuts for Hobby Wire and Bench Work

Choose the cutter for the material rather than its appearance. Soft wire, hard wire and cable can require different cutting tools, and the capacity of one Xuron model should not be applied to another. Use the source specifications below to compare the exact tool with your project.

For model wiring, small assemblies and craft projects, plan the cut where you can see and support the material. A compact head can help with access, while a retaining feature may help manage offcuts when the selected model includes one. Check the individual material limits before use.
