Atlas Brush Company Red Fox 3-Piece Red Sable Detail Brush Set

Atlas Brush Company Red Fox 3-Piece Red Sable Detail Brush Set brings 3 brushes together for model painting. The set uses red sable bristles in round detail profiles. The listed selection is 10/0, 5/0 and #0.

Using it on your model

Use the fine profile to place a highlight, trim color or small marking. Check paint flow first and reload as needed instead of trying to stretch a drying tip across the detail.

Plan the paint and coverage

For a figure, test the mark on a spare surface before adding a small highlight or color boundary. On a model vehicle or aircraft, paint hard-to-reach components before final assembly where possible. Choose the brush around the area and access you need, then adjust your paint for brush application according to the paint manufacturer’s directions.

Cleaning and storage

Clean promptly with a cleaner suitable for both the paint and the brush. Keep paint from drying at the base of the bristles, reshape the tip gently after cleaning and let it dry before storage. Reserve a separate brush for abrasive texture work or other jobs that could affect a fine detail point.
