AK Interactive Quick Gen Desert Sand is a contrast acrylic paint. Use this tone where your reference calls for a muted earth, fabric or camouflage color. Compare it beside the surrounding colors before adding dust or highlights.

Paint adjacent colors on the same test piece so you can judge the contrast once both are dry.
AK calls Quick Gen its acrylic range for the contrast technique. On repeated figures, try the same color over a white and a light gray undercoat and choose the result you can reproduce across the unit.
