Choose a Hollow Profile for Your Project

Check what each dimension describes. Outside size, wall thickness and inside opening are not interchangeable. If the product listing does not state the measurement you need, verify it before committing to a close-fitting design. Choose the material and profile together with the method you intend to use for joining.

Measure Before Cutting

Compare the listed dimensions with the part or drawing you are working from. Select a cutting or forming tool appropriate to the metal and size, and plan how the stock will be held while you work. Check the cut ends and any required cleanup before test-fitting the part to the model.
