Plan a Fitted Tube Assembly

Read the stated contents rather than assuming every pack includes the same number of tubes or progression of sizes. Plan how much overlap the design needs and how the finished parts will be supported. Keep tolerances and the chosen joining method in mind before cutting the supplied stock into shorter components.

Measure Before Cutting

Compare the listed dimensions with the part or drawing you are working from. Select a cutting or forming tool appropriate to the metal and size, and plan how the stock will be held while you work. Check the cut ends and any required cleanup before test-fitting the part to the model.
