Building and finishing

Dry-fit the components first and decide which surfaces need to remain clean for a secure bond. Use light paint coats around small molded details, and test adhesives on spare material where compatibility is uncertain. Wheel and tire projects also benefit from a check of stance and alignment before the final installation.

Choose the accessory for the build you are actually making rather than treating all parts packs as interchangeable. A careful test fit can identify whether minor adaptation is needed and help prevent damage to an already painted assembly. Finish the new detail so it works with the rest of the vehicle or display.
