Excel Yardstick Pencil is an Excel product for your hobby workbench. Compare Excel cutting mats, rules, squares and marking tools by the size of your work area and the measurements you need. Choose a surface that supports the complete cut.
Using it on your project
Lay out the work before cutting. Check the rule, square or template against a reference point, and keep enough clear mat around the part to support both the workpiece and your hand.
What to compare before ordering
Check the product number, format and package quantity against the task on your bench. A blade profile, numbered drill size, abrasive grade or jaw shape can change how a tool reaches a small part. Compare the listing with the tool or holder you already own before choosing a replacement or accessory.
