Build a distinctive fantasy or science-fiction setting

Use this palette for alien landscapes, magical clearings, unusual underwater-inspired scenes or character bases. Repeat a few colors across a gaming board or army to connect the terrain visually, then reserve stronger contrasts for focal points. Vary the spacing and combine vegetation with rocks and ground texture so the scene has both open areas and denser growth.

These imaginative colors are presented for stylized scenery rather than ordinary historical landscapes. No fluorescent, UV-reactive or glow-in-the-dark performance is assumed from the color name alone.

Plan placement and attachment

Arrange the vegetation before fixing it in place. Lift individual tufts carefully with tweezers and use a small amount of PVA glue where a stronger permanent bond is needed. Keep glue away from visible fibers or blossoms. Allow the adhesive to dry before handling or transporting the finished scene.
