MCW Finishes Citron Mist Metallic - MCW7064E is part of the MCW Finishes range at MegaHobby. Use Citron Mist Metallic when it matches the finish you want for a model car body, custom project or road-vehicle detail. Compare the named shade with the paint scheme and any period references before choosing your base.
At the workbench
Mix thoroughly and spray a sample over your planned primer. Check the evenness of the metallic effect across both a flat area and a curve, then compare the result after your intended clear coat has dried.
Preparing the paint
Stir the paint thoroughly and prepare a small sample over a compatible primer. For airbrushing, follow MCW’s enamel instructions when choosing reducer and adjusting the mix. Test the spray pattern before painting the model, and let the sample dry before judging the color and final sheen.
Build the finish around your intended result. A uniform body color, a camouflage layer and a small brush-painted detail each call for a different amount of coverage. Check how your chosen wash, decal treatment or clear behaves on the sample before adding it to the finished piece.
