MCW Finishes Sand – Desert Storm - MCWMIL2015 is part of the MCW Finishes range at MegaHobby. Build a camouflage or detail palette around Sand – Desert Storm. Compare any FS, RAL or RLM reference in the name with the vehicle or aircraft’s marking guide before substituting a similarly named shade.
At the workbench
Choose the subject and period first, then compare any reference number with your build instructions. Swatch the base colors next to your planned wash and ground effects before painting the model.
Building the effect
Test on a spare surface with the same paint and finish as the project. Build the effect gradually and compare it at normal viewing distance. Check any later layer on the sample first so you can judge how it affects the color and appearance.
