MIG Productions AK Interactive Decal Setter Solution 35ml Bottle

MIG Productions Decal Setter — 35ml

MIG Productions P251 Decal Setter is a 35ml solution for the decal-application stage of a scale-model project. It is intended to assist decal adhesion when applying markings to a prepared model surface. Keep it alongside your decal tools when adding aircraft insignia, vehicle numbers, sponsor graphics or other waterslide markings.

Where a setter fits into the finishing process

Decal work follows surface preparation and painting. A clean, smooth finish helps the carrier film lie against the model, while careful positioning keeps markings aligned with nearby panels and details. A setter is used as a decal-application aid; it does not replace preparing the underlying paint or following the decal manufacturer's instructions.

• Brand: MIG Productions
• Product: Decal Setter
• Item number: P251 / MIG-P251
• Bottle size: 35ml
• Purpose: aid decal adhesion during application

Use with care on finished paint

Follow the bottle's directions for application and test on a spare decal or an inconspicuous finished area before treating an important marking. Paint systems, clear coats and decal films vary, so allow the base finish to cure and check the combination first. Handle the decal gently and avoid repeatedly moving it once it begins to settle.

A decal setter and a decal softener serve related tasks, but do not assume that this bottle has the same action as a dedicated softening solution. Choose any additional treatment according to the decal film, the surface detail and the product directions. Once the marking has dried, test any protective clear finish before applying it to the completed model.
