Build a stock Chevy Cheyenne pickup or the Racer's Wedge car-hauling ramp truck, with alternative wheels and display accessories.

Building and finishing this MPC kit

A truck build can emphasize a clean showroom appearance, a personalized street finish or the restrained wear of a working vehicle. Test-fit the chassis and body before painting, then plan separate finishes for the cab, interior, running gear and tires. A consistent approach to panel lines and mechanical colors gives the finished model a convincing sense of weight.

Plan your workbench

Work through the assembly sequence before starting, especially where clear parts, decals or moving components need to be fitted later. Use light paint coats to preserve molded detail. A test piece is useful for checking paint and clear-coat compatibility before committing to the visible surfaces.
