Robart Hobby Paint Shaker W/ Power Pack - Opened Box

Opened-box item: the box has been opened. All sales final.

Prepare bottled model paint for your next build with the Robart electric hobby paint shaker, available from MegaHobby. This bench accessory uses mechanical shaking to help redistribute settled pigment before brush painting or preparing paint for an airbrush. It is a practical addition to a work area used for scale aircraft, military models, model cars, railroad projects and miniatures.

Paint preparation before the first coat

Paint can settle between projects, so mixing is part of establishing consistent color and handling. The Robart shaker operates at 5,000 shakes per minute and accommodates paint bottles from 1/4 oz. to 2 oz. Always check that the bottle fits securely, the cap is tightly closed and the retaining strap is in good condition before operation.

Build a useful painting workflow

After mixing, follow the paint manufacturer's directions for thinning and application. Shaking does not replace choosing the correct thinner or checking the paint's condition. Test the mixed paint before applying it to your model, especially when matching a previous coat or working with fine surface detail.
