Plan application around the materials

Many PS colors are applied inside a clear body shell. Follow the particular can for coating sequence, backing colors and special effects. Do not choose a PS product as a substitute for a traditional plastic-model paint just because the color name is similar.

Choose color and sheen with the subject in mind. A model car body, aircraft camouflage pattern, military vehicle interior or display detail can call for a different finish. Check the full code against your references, mix bottled products as directed and evaluate a dried test sample before applying the finish to the model.
