Plan application around the materials

Prepare a clean, smooth surface and build the finish in controlled coats following the can instructions. Test the complete paint system, particularly any clear coat over decals, before applying it to the finished model. TS and AS are distinct from PS polycarbonate paints.

Choose color and sheen with the subject in mind. A model car body, aircraft camouflage pattern, military vehicle interior or display detail can call for a different finish. Check the full code against your references, mix bottled products as directed and evaluate a dried test sample before applying the finish to the model.
